Stretching from Central Park North all the way along sections of the Harlem River and 5th avenue, Central Harlem is a large neighborhood in the upper section of Manhattan. Harlem got its name from Haarlem in the Netherlands and later became the center of the “Harlem Renaissance” in the early 1900’s. This artistic significance is still apparent today through art, music, and the food industry. Many affordable retailers like the Gap and drug stores line this area. More commonly, though, you’ll find tons of innovative and delicious restaurant and café options. Easily take a food tour with the plenty of transportation options available; the A, B, C, 2, and 3 trains are all over, as well as the bus choices from the M7 to the M102. This growing area is great for an art or food industry looking to expand their business and reach more customers. Take a look at Central Harlem’s Google Maps location here.
