The United Nations Plaza, or the UN Plaza for short, is the headquarters for the United Nations. Part of the Turtle Bay neighborhood, many general assembly meetings are held here. Because of this, a lot of attention is held here. Unfortunately, not many businesses have room to open up in this vicinity. That’s because it’s located on the edge of the East River and United Nations Plaza’s First Avenue. Smaller retailers, drug stores, and eateries can be found here. For example, Uniquely Delightful, Tudor City Steakhouse, and the Hallmark Shop are all here. Transportation is mainly centered around the M2 and M15 buses, as well as the PATH train.
