Mostly populated with a growing millennial population, Murray Hill’s mainly residential area is a well-known neighborhood in Manhattan. Murray Hill got its name in the 18^th century from the Murray family who were famous merchants specializing in overseas trade and shipping. As time passed, the population of the neighborhood changed from older and wealthy to younger and middle class. Retail locations are aware of this and have catered the scene to benefit the population. Places like Loft and Footlocker are here between the town’s borders of 1^st and Madison Avenues, and East 42^nd and 34^th Streets. In addition to these, corporate office tenants of Tommy Hilfiger and Mitsubishi exist here. Getting from one of these places to another is easy – take the QM15, 17, and 18, M15, 101, 102, 103, or many other available buses.
