The Upper East Side, otherwise abbreviated as the UES, of Manhattan is a large neighborhood in New York City. It’s bounded by East 59^th and 96^th Streets, as well as Fifth Avenue and the East River. Many smaller neighborhoods are found located within this area, but they are all categorized under the UES. Once covered in dense forest is now an urban jungle. People come from far and wide to experience this part of the city. Because of this, stores like Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, and Madewell took note and opened shop here. Also, since the location is so central, corporate offices of ThePamperedPet, Bloomingdales, and National Geographic are here. Transportation is simple – any train and bus you can imagine is likely accessible. Some of the more common ones include the 4, 5, 6, M, Q, and R trains, along with the M15, M101, M102, and M103 buses.
